Vestide opens Haven student housing project in Eindhoven: increasing student well-being with 735 student homes

November 7 marked the official opening of the Haven student housing project, developed by Vestide/Woonbedrijf. This new complex on the TU/e campus consists of 735 student homes. Besides building student housing, a community of students has also been built here. In this way, Vestide is making an important contribution to the well-being of students.

First students will move into student towers on the TU/e campus in August

Woonbedrijf/Vestide's 735 brand-new student housing units on the TU/e campus are nearing completion. Students can move into their new homes in August. The first key was handed over on Thursday to two students who will live in the towers, namely TU/e student Merijn Savelkoul and Fontys student Femke Kusters. Many students were actively involved in the plans during construction, so extra attention was paid to community building.

We spend money on making our homes more sustainable, renovations and the construction of new homes. In addition to costs for our office and staff, we pay a hefty amount of taxes.

Haven: new student housing project on TU/e Campus

The rental of Vestide's 735 student housing units on the campus will start on April 26. All residences are scheduled to be completed this summer. The name of the project that includes the buildings Castor, Pollux and Terra is Haven.

Construction of student housing on TU/e campus 50 meters high

The construction of 735 student housing units on the TU/e campus is progressing at lightning speed. It started in November 2022. Already the west tower has reached its highest point, the 16th floor at 50 meters high. A great achievement of Heijmans' construction crew at the construction site. When all goes well, the homes will all be completed by the summer of 2024. To thank the workers for their great efforts and achievements, they were offered a tasty winter lunch. We hope it tasted great!

Vestide adds 78 student houses in record time at location Berenkuil in Eindhoven

On the spot where 300 temporary student housing units already stood, student housing provider Vestide installed 78 new student housing units. The project on the site near the Berenkuil was completed in record time: from plan on paper to key for students within 1 year.

Concerns about rising energy prices

The service costs for gas and electricity have gone up due to the rising energy prices. This concerns many tenants and might effects your daily expenses as a student. Unfortunately we are bound to the current prices. We do however advise and support tenants where we can. Sending sensitive personal data via secure email

We find it important that everyone at Woonbedrijf and Vestide treats each other, our residents, collaboration partners and each other's data with care and integrity. From December 2022, Woonbedrijf and Vestide will use Zivver to send sensitive personal information via secure email.

Automatic debit on December 2

Do you pay your monthly rent via automatic debit? Then you are used to this being debited from your account on the 1st of the month. So today. This month it didn't go very well. The direct debit is therefore not done on December 1, but December 2. This has no further consequences for the coming months. The next automatic debit will be on January 1, 2023.

Construction begins of 735 student homes on TU/e campus

Woonbedrijf/Vestide and construction company Heijmans have started the construction of 735 student homes on the TU/e campus. This project will be completed in the summer of 2024 and will consist of 366 rooms, 285 studios and 84 apartments and various facilities. Today partners involved in the project held the kick-off event.

LOT: Community for new student housing at the TU/e Campus

Vestide, part of Woonbedrijf, will build 735 student apartments on the TU/e campus. Construction will start in two months. The student apartments are not there yet, but Vestide is already starting to build the community for the students. Students have already contributed their ideas regarding various issues surrounding the new student housing. That effort is now being expanded. Vestide hopes to inspire and encourage students to contribute their ideas and join in with and be part of the decision-making on the further development of the plan for the new student housing. Vestide has facilitated this process by launching a community called LOT.

Investing together in student city Eindhoven with new student housing convenant 2021-2028

Eindhoven has a new Student Housing Covenant, a follow-up to the Student Housing Covenant 2012-2020. The covenant is an initiative of the Municipality of Eindhoven, Holland Expat Centre South, TU/e, Fontys Hogescholen, Design Academy Eindhoven, Summa College, Woonbedrijf/Vestide, Stichting Vastgoedbelang, Stehven and Brainport Development. Together they offer a long-term commitment to the students of Eindhoven and to making Eindhoven an attractive and welcoming student city. The covenant is a guide for giving student housing the attention it needs and deserves in the coming years.
